The anaerobic digestor is able to reduce the BOD of the sago manufacturing process effluent to about 500 only.But to use the treated water for agriculture or other purpose,BOD of the treated water has to be reduced below 100 or so.
How to reduce BOD of 500 to less than 100 of the effluent coming out of the anaerobic digester?
You could include a bio-reactor to areate and treat the effluent stream. Filter out the high solids too. This will increase the anaerobic activity and reduce your BOD.
There are several manufacturers of secondary treatment systems out there.
