Can you still buy, Kunzel cakes and Sago? - if u can where?

Her goodself has suddenly got a hankering for those. She has been hunting for them everwhere with no luck - she's also starting to pester all her freinds to keep an eye out for them. She is driving everyone bonkers. We live in Somerset. Can anybody help?

Oh you have just reminded me of Kunzel cakes. I do hope someone can tell us where to get them, I live in Essex.

Reply:My mum loved them! I don't know where you could buy them now as in shop but here's an idea! I was trying to trace some delicious old time French biscuits i loved, entered the name, clicked on search and found a web site for them. They sell on line. Why don't you do the same thing? If you don't find a place that would sell them ... You might find someone who'll give you a recipe for them
Reply:Sorry, but Kunzels are no longer around!! The bakery used to be in Birmingham, but closed many years ago! I know what she means though!! Remember the little show-boat cakes? Yum!!
Reply:Kunzel used to be made in Brum but I don't think they are availiable now, it was always a problem knowing which one to choose
