Why are my sago palm leaves yellow? how can i fix it?

lacking nitrogen. go to home depot or a garden area of a big store and get some nitrite or nitric oxide or whatever the hell its called. water up and within weeks your plant will grow healthy green leaves again, but of course, it also needs plenty of sunlight to keep its chlorophyl (the green plant cells that absorb sunlight for photosynthesis, converting carbon dioxide into oxygen) levels healthy as well.

Your sago palms are getting yellow because too much sun.

I live in the Imperial Valley, and my brother in law has three of them in front of his house and every summer he has to put some beach umbrellas over them, if not they turn all yellow.
Reply:the fronds is dead . remove them and new one 's will appear soon .spread about 2 cups of epson salts as a fertilizer on the ground around the palm . water it in but do not over water just a moist soil it needs magnision. the female will have a ball in the top center about the size of a basket ball . the male will have a long thing that looks like the penis of an elephant.about 3 inches in dia' and about 3 feet long
Reply:give the poor thing some water.
Reply:They're losing their chlorophyll (the green color) because they're not getting enough sun. Palm trees are tropical plants and need lots of sun to survive. If you live in a cold area and want to keep them you might need to get a plant light.
