How can billionaire, Wilbur Ross, owner of Sago Mine,be so cheap only donated $2 mill for 13 families?

his recent wedding probably cost more, and he is counting on the donations of other caring people to make up for his lack of humanity.

I don't know...it's disgusting...hopefully there will be a lawsuit and those families will get millions EACH. Nothing can bring back their loved ones, but at least the companies should have to pay!
Reply:International Coal Group is Incorporated, meaning investors own the company through the purchase of stock. Wilbur Ross is an investor that formed the company with other investors. Ross does not own the mine, is not personally liable, and didn't have to donate anything. International Coal Group may be liable in the accident, but because it is a corporation a single person is not.
